Chris Herbster, PT
Multi-Site Clinic Director / Physical Therapist
My philosophy is simply to provide the patient with what they want, to get better quickly. By being empathetic and listening to patient’s needs, I look to identify and guide them to their individual recovery goals. My hands are an important tool, and I use them to provide the caring touch to help facilitate the healing process. Just as important is my knowledge, and by educating people, I look to empower them to participate actively in the rehabilitation process and take responsibility for their health.
Chris joined the Phoenix team in May 2006 as facility director of Phoenix in Watsontown, where he was instrumental in the overall development and growth of the facility. Today, he has successfully transmitted his model of success and patient care philosophy to Phoenix in Lewisburg where he presides as facility director and lead physical therapist. Chris brings to Phoenix over 30 years of diverse orthopedic, spinal and sports rehabilitation. He also has experience in home health, geriatric, neurological and amputee care.
Currently, Chris resides in Selinsgrove with his wife Amy. He has two adult children. Outside the office, he enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, kayaking, and landscaping.
