Ryan Ellis, PT
Clinic Director, Physical Therapist
As a physical therapist, I pride myself on taking a wholistic, patient-centered approach when treating patients. I am a firm believer in using a wide variety of manual techniques to assist in the restoration of functional movements. I find it vital to have an expansive catalog of exercises geared towards not only correcting structural issues but assisting in a quick and effective return to function. I ensure that all of my techniques and exercises are progressed or regressed accordingly to facilitate optimal technique and form to optimize function in the short and long term. I think it is paramount to treat each and every patient uniquely with manual techniques, neurorestorative, and therapeutic exercises specifically tailored towards each and every patient’s needs.
I grew up playing hockey and wrestling. I spent a lot of winters in Buffalo, as both of my parents and extended family were all born and raised in that area, so naturally, I love the snow. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and am a die-hard Pittsburgh sports fan. I spent four years down in Texas, in the Austin-San Antonio area, and love the southern atmosphere. My mom is a physical therapist so I grew up in the clinics watching her and have had the lifelong goal of becoming a physical therapist from the age of 5.
