Sherron McGowan, PT, M.Ed.
Physical Therapist
Sherron joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services team in August 2010. As a physical therapist in the Kersey/St. Marys area, she has been instrumental to the overall development and growth of the practice. Sherron brings to Phoenix 25 years of clinical experience with a focus in outpatient orthopedics including post-surgical, acute and chronic conditions, workers’ compensation, and sports injury cases as well as familiarity with providing care in the inpatient and home settings.
As a supporter of lifelong learning, Sherron’s efforts in the development of a Physical Therapist Assistant program for Penn State DuBois resulted in the initial accreditation of the program by CAPTE (the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).
Sherron presently resides in St. Marys with her husband, Jay. She is the proud mother of three daughters: Hannah, Hayley and Elle and two Welsh Corgis. Outside the office when she isn’t spending time with her family or staying current in the Pilates Method of exercise, she greatly enjoys her volunteer and philanthropic efforts in the community and supporting her soccer, dance, church and softball families.
