Jordon K. Moore, PT, DPT
Clinic Director / Physical Therapist
Active patient care centers around taking the time to assess a patient, and dissect the dysfunctions that are contributing to the problems that the patient is having. Only after one identifies the source of the problem, can a plan be developed to put the patient on a path to success. I genuinely care for each of my patients and their success.
Jordon joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services, Inc. team in 2019 and is the Facility Director for our new Chesapeake location in Edinburgh Commons North Shopping Center. His expertise lies in the personalized and evidence-based treatment of orthopedic problems and post-surgical conditions, as well as sport and work-related injuries. He has earned more recent certifications for treating the CrossFit Athlete. He has advanced post-doctorate training in manual therapy and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. This advanced training allows him to guide his patients to achieve higher than average outcomes in a shorter period. Jordon strives to create positive results in every patient.
In addition to the advanced certifications, Jordon’s skillset includes manual therapy techniques; joint and spine mobilization and manipulation; treatment of TMJ conditions, and orthotics. Specialized programs include post-surgical candidates and those participating in extreme sports, runners, CrossFit and Olympic lifting.
He is an avid CrossFit athlete and has certifications on managing CrossFit injuries including advanced movement analysis of Olympic lifts, gymnastics and re-programming for the injured athlete. When you are injured in CrossFit you need a PT who understands CrossFit by promoting active healing with continued fitness through temporary re-programming and advanced movement analysis to determine where faults are coming from.
Currently residing in Southern Virginia Beach with his wife and their two young sons, Jordon enjoys CrossFit, all outdoor activities including hiking, kayaking, running, camping, surfing, fishing and helping coach his boys in their many sports.
