After receiving her undergraduate degree from Erskine College, Katie began her career by working with the Gaston County School system as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She has continued to keep open communication with the local athletic trainers while treating high school athletes as a physical therapist in the clinical setting. In addition to her work with high school and collegiate athletes, she enjoys working with a wide variety of patients with orthopedic, pain, and mobility issues. Katie has a special interest in dry needling, cupping, scraping, and spinal manipulation.
When not working, Katie enjoys time with her husband, two sons, and dog. She enjoys a wide range of hobbies including CrossFit, gardening, furniture restoration, and is an active member at her church.
