In my practice of Physical Therapy, I certainly try to see each patient with a very holistic view and treating the current diagnosis within the framework of their lifestyle and trying to empower the patient with prescriptive exercises, stretches, and movement patterns that address their current functional needs but also prevent injury in the future. Each patient has a unique puzzle to solve and I enjoy discovering answers and facilitating hope for more pain-free and functional movement.
Allison has been a physical therapist for over 10 years. She has always worked in an outpatient physical therapy setting where we have seen many diagnoses, including orthopedic, neuro, sports, and chronic pain cases, as well as lymphedema and wound care. Allison is a Juzo Certified Fitter for compression garments. Through 2017-2020, I spent a portion of each year volunteering as a PT with Mercy Ships in West Africa during their field services in pediatric orthopedics and burn reconstruction/plastic surgery.
