Barrie Jo joined the Phoenix Physical Therapy team in 2019 and is currently the Facility Director for our Easton location. She has over 20 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. Her expertise lies in the treatment of orthopedic and sports conditions, post-surgical conditions, work injury, manual therapy, aquatic therapy, concussion and cervicogenic headache management, and neurological diseases including, Parkinson’s disease. She is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist, a Manual Therapy Certified therapist, and, Direct Access Certified, and an LSVT-BIG certified therapist for Parkinson’s disease. Her training also includes extensive experience with kinesiotaping, IASTM, myofascial release techniques/massage, work hardening, and conditioning programs, and functional capacity evaluations.
Barrie Jo not only grew up in the Lehigh Valley area but resides there now as well where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her two children are very involved in Northampton athletics, and she is the team mom for her son’s football team. Barrie Jo loves outdoor activities, including snowboarding, hiking, and any beach or water sports. She has also played on a mom’s flag football team to raise money for Breast Cancer research.
