Beau J. Troutman, PT, DPT

“Effective physical therapy treatment requires a lot more than knowing the latest and greatest hands-on techniques or having the largest arsenal of exercises.  Sure, these tools are a huge benefit, but unless you can connect with patients on a personal level, you may miss opportunities to fully understand what all could be contributing to their current condition.  I find it essential to take a very personal approach with every patient I see and treat them as if they were a family member.  I have experienced orthopedic injuries and surgeries myself and therefore know what it’s like to be on the operating and treatment tables and furthermore, sidelined from life.  I want to help my patients get their lives back.”

After treating patients and managing clinics in the Lancaster and Harrisburg regions for the past five years, Beau has returned to his home area to join the Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services, Inc. team acting as Facility Director for our recently opened (2018) Gratz location.  His expertise lies in the treatment of orthopedic and post-surgical conditions as well as sport and work-related injuries.  In addition, he has considerable experience treating vestibular conditions such as vertigo, concussions, balance deficits, and gait dysfunction.

Beau resides in Hegins with his wife and two children.  Outside of the office, he likes to participate in competitive cornhole tournaments and enjoys hunting, camping and pretty much every sport, especially football and wrestling.  And for those patients in our Spanish speaking neighborhoods, Beau is conversant in Spanish.
