Adds Doug, “I believe a holistic approach to treat pain and dysfunction will maximize the quality of life and restore a sense of balance between the body and mind. I like to work in conjunction with my patients to develop trust and comfort when establishing their plan of care and functional goals by utilizing the most efficient, effective evidence-based approach.”
Doug joined Phoenix Physical Therapy in 2019 and currently leads the Harrisburg area team as the Clinic Director. Here he will be a focal part of the development and growth of this newly opened clinic.
Doug’s clinical expertise includes treatment of orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, neck-related headaches, sprains, strain conditions, TMJ dysfunction, balance dysfunction, and workers’ compensation. Doug combines his use of advanced manual therapy techniques and patient education as part of a holistic clinical approach. Doug is certified in Orthopedic Manual Therapy as well as recognized as an Orthopedic Certified Specialist from the APTA.
Before joining Phoenix, Doug provided personal training services to high school athletes during and offseason and was a consultant for weight loss clients following surgery. Outside the clinic, Doug enjoys working out, listening to music, watching sports, and collecting sports memorabilia.
