As an employer, we know how important employee safety is for companies. Phoenix provides a workplace injury prevention program where our Physical and Occupational Therapists provide employers and employees with opportunities to learn workplace injury prevention techniques specific to job tasks.
These injury prevention in-services include instruction in proper posture and positions for still workstations, proper lifting techniques, hand and wrist injury prevention and care, supervisor training and workstation exercises.
We emphasize teaching employees what he or she must do to prevent injury, as opposed to what the employer must do. We believe that this fosters an active role by employees regarding their safety and injury prevention.
When possible, this service is customized to specific job descriptions and workstations as directed by the employer.

Welcome to Industrial Specialty Montgomery
As an industrial specialty for our physical therapy facility, Phoenix Physical Therapy and Health Services is a return-to-work oriented provider. Studies now reflect a window from 4 weeks to 4 months as a critical benchmark where risks of long-term incapacity increase substantially1. Hence, the relationship between referral source, local industry, and the clinician is a crucial component in the critical task of returning an injured employee to work safely as well as in an efficient time frame1. 1 Orthopaedic Section-APTA, (2011) Guideline: Occupational Health Physical Therapy: Advanced Work Rehabilitation Guidelines Learn how you can take advantage of our Montgomery location’s Industrial Specialty services...
I go to the Berwick office and all the staff are wonderful. They treat you like a friend. I would recommend anyone I know to go there.
